The six US VFS Portugal centres
Since 11 June 2026 every Portugal visa application in the United States is submitted in person at the VFS centre with jurisdiction over your residence. Pick your centre for its address, hours, the states it covers, and the appointment dates our monitoring recorded there.
Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont apply at the Consulate General in Boston; New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware at Newark; Rhode Island at Providence; the New Bedford area at New Bedford. Those applicants do not use VFS.
